Directions
- Heat BlueStar oven to 375°F. In a large mixing bowl combine ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Mix gently just until evenly combined; do not overwork the beef. Shape into a loaf in a baking dish or on a rimmed sheet pan. Mix ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and yellow mustard for the glaze. Spread about half the glaze over the meatloaf before baking. Bake, adding the remaining glaze during cooking, until the center reaches 160°F, generally 55 to 65 minutes depending on loaf shape and thickness. Rest 10 minutes before slicing so the juices redistribute and slices hold together. Serve with mashed potatoes and green beans or another simple vegetable.
Equipment
Wüsthof IKON Chef’s Knife; Asahi Hi-Soft cutting board; large mixing bowl; baking dish or rimmed sheet pan; instant-read thermometer; BlueStar oven.
