Directions
- 1. Season and brown the roast.
- 2. Put onions and garlic in the slow cooker and place roast over them.
- 3. Add stock, Worcestershire, soy sauce, thyme, and bay leaf.
- 4. Cook on LOW 8 hours until fork-tender.
- 5. Shred or thinly slice the beef. Strain the cooking liquid for au jus.
- 6. Fill toasted rolls with beef and provolone, melt briefly under the broiler, and serve with warm jus.

Food safety & storage
